Building an Off Grid Heating System

Saturday, November 7, 2009 9:30am-4:00pm

At Piedmont Eco Industrial Park, 220 Lorax Lane, Pittsboro, NC

In this workshop you will learn how to build and install a wall-mounted solar air heater using common building materials and powered by a small PV panel and DC fan.

The first part of the class will focus on basic theory, but the bulk of the class will be outside and hands-on. Students should be comfortable using common tools such as a saws and drills.
