Since moving from an urban lot in Durham to 3 acres in Saxapahaw, NC in 2021, we have been building Bountiful Acre, a mixed annual and perennial 1 acre market garden.

This small but mighty garden feeds our family and provides a surplus that serves our community with nutrient dense, organic, and regeneratively grown fruit and vegetables, simultaneously growing more than 150 species of native and naturalized perennials. We focus on soil food web health, low-till, regenerative, and Biointensive methods, cover cropping, and permaculture principles to create a thriving and diverse garden selling CSA shares, to local restaurants, and area markets. Bountiful Acre is a founding member of the Haw River Producers Cooperative (HRPC) with Full Plate Farm in Snow Camp, NC, a producer owned and operated cooperative that adheres to the 7 ICA Cooperative Principles.

We offer on-site workshops, farmscaping installations, market garden soil and infrastructure consultations, and part-time internships.
