Rain gardens are a reservoir for source point stormwater runoff from the roof, providing an easy solution and providing passive irrigation for other areas of the landscape. We call it outdoor plumbing! Directing the stormwater to the rain garden is generally easy, using gravity to guide our siting and design. Rain gardens support a wide variety of flowering perennials and will hold beneficial rainwater that would otherwise be lost, cause erosion, or cause home or landscape damage (flooding, crawl space damage etc).
